Validating the Flow Before Launch

To ensure everything worked as intended and felt intuitive to users with different levels of financial knowledge, we built a full clickable prototype and conducted structured usability testing across multiple investor personas — from beginners to advanced traders.

Our testing goals were:

• Minimize the number of steps from portfolio overview to trade execution to ensure real-time decision making

• Streamline onboarding experiences tailored for different user types — such as crypto-first users vs. traditional investors

• Evaluate interface responsiveness across devices and screen sizes — ensuring performance remained high on mobile, where most users start

Based on user feedback, we iterated frequently — fine-tuning layouts, optimizing information flow, and eliminating friction points. This phase was crucial to ensuring that the interface not only looked good but worked exactly how users expected.

Once all flows were validated, we finalized a full design system and documentation package — built to empower Cryptedge’s internal developers to implement with precision and flexibility.

Deliverables included:

• A modular and reusable UI kit, enabling fast rollout of new features or updates without breaking consistency

• Detailed interaction specifications, particularly for dynamic elements like real-time charts, sliders, toggles, and micro-interactions
